TREATMENT PLANT APPLICATIONS

Treatment plant investments are quite costly investments; therefore, they must be designed for achieving long years of service life. To establish a system with a long service life, one of the most important decisions is the selection of pipe type. The pipes to be used in the selection of the pressure, low pressure and non-pressure lines required by the facility are of vital importance. The products developed by our company are offering unique solutions for treatment plant applications. The solutions developed for treatment plants can be summarized as follows according to pressure groups;

- Pressure Pipes (PN4 – PN32 Bar) -> Bogenn HDPE100 Pipes
- Low Pressure Lines (PN1 – PN4 Bar) -> Bogenn HDPE Low Pressure Spiral Pipes
- Unpressurized Lines (Gravity Lines < PN1) -> Bogenn HDPE Spiral Pipes

Another resistance requirement for pipes in underground applications is the ring rigidity. Our company is capable of producing in ring rigidities within the range of SR2 – SR128 kN/m2 (DIN 16961) or SN 1 - SN16 kN/m2 (EN 13476).

The terms SN and SR, which refer to ring rigidity, are ring rigidities according to different standards, and they express different magnitudes although their units are the same. As a general acceptance for HDPE material, it can be estimated that SN value is equal to 4 x SR value. As an example, it would not be wrong to suggest that: SN 4 kN/m2 ≈ SR 16 kN/m2.

Not only pipe reliability, but also connection reliability if of great importance. Our HDPE based solutions both provide high chemical/corrosion resistance, and also give confidence to the users by achieving connection at molecular level. Pipe types and connection methods are summarized below.
